As the mother of a child with autism, I know the struggles many parents like me face every day. My own child was diagnosed at two and we have had a hard journey over the years with countless tears and a lot of ups and downs. When searching for ways I could help my child, I did not find comfort in conventional medicine as I found that it fell short of providing long-term guidance and answers. Ultimately, my educational background and fifteen years of experience in the medical field has equipped me with a deep knowledge of functional and integrative medicine and how it can help heal the body by getting to the underlying cause of the problem— not just putting a Band-Aid on it!
